Lives Unlived
Mourning paths we never walked.

Sometimes I get into this mood where I think about the paths I could have taken but never did. I wonder where I might be now if things had been different, if I’d made a different decision. I’m sure everyone wonders this. this poem is about that feeling and its unending nature. I hope you like this one! If you do, consider subscribing, it’d mean a lot!
All the weight
Of all the worlds
We didn’t see.
All the lives
Of all the loves
We didn’t meet.
All the laughs
From all the jokes
We didn’t hear.
All the roads
Adventure-bound,
We never took.
All the words
Behind our teeth
That we never said;
Haunt us
To the end of our days.
